OREAが発売したコンパクトなモデル、それがO1です。そのコンパクトなサイズ感からBABY Oという愛称がついています。2025年に購入したドリッパーの中で最も満足度が高く、自身の「オールタイムベスト5」(2026年4月時点)にも名を連ねるモデルです。当初は単に小さいだけかと思っていましたが、10gの豆で一杯を淹れる際のファーストチョイスになるほど、使いやすさと浅煎りとの相性に優れています。あまりの使い心地の良さに、後から2色のカラーを買い足したほどのお気に入りです。
フラットペーパーとの完璧な相性
OREA V3用のネゴシエーターがそのまま使用でき、フラットペーパー(ボンスター 油こし紙)がジャストサイズで収まります。ペーパーの貼り付きが非常に良く、準備の際も引っ掛かりが少ないためストレスがありません。抽出に関しては非常にお湯の抜けが早く、後半に詰まることもなくスッと抜けるため、浅煎り豆のジューシーな個性を引き出すのに最適です。
特徴と注意点
機能的で可愛らしいデザインが特徴ですが注意点もあります。それはホルダーの位置が比較的高めに設計されているため、高さのない小さめのカップを使用すると、抽出の後半にドリッパーの底部が液面に浸かってしまうことがあります。一杯どりには非常に向いていますが、組み合わせるカップの選択には少し気を配る必要があります。

OREA released a compact model, which is the O1. Due to its compact size, it has been given the nickname BABY O. It provided the highest satisfaction among the drippers I purchased in 2025, earning a place in my All-Time Best 5 (as of April 2026). At first, I thought it was simply small, but it offers excellent usability and pairs well with light roasts, to the point where it is my first choice when brewing a single cup with 10g of beans. It is such a favorite that I later bought two additional colors because of how comfortable it is to use.
A Perfect Match with Flat Paper
The negotiator for the OREA V3 can be used as is, and a flat paper (Bonstar Oil-Straining Paper) fits perfectly in size. The paper adhesion is quite good, and there is little catching during preparation, making it stress-free. Regarding extraction, the water flow is fast, draining smoothly without clogging in the latter half, which makes it ideal for drawing out the juicy characteristics of light roast beans.
Characteristics and Points to Note
It features a functional and cute design, but there is a point to note. Because the holder is designed at a relatively high position, using a small, low-height cup can result in the bottom of the dripper being submerged in the liquid during the latter half of the extraction. While it is highly suited for brewing a single cup, some care is needed when choosing the cup to pair it with.
