カリタウェーブの陶器版は今まで波佐見焼で作られていましたが、2024年にモデルチェンジして美濃焼になりました。(面白いのはほぼ同じタイミングで、メリタは美濃焼から波佐見焼きにチェンジしました。偶然だと思うけど)。生産地が変わるだけでなく、フラットベッドの底の部分の形状や抽出穴の大きさが変化しました。前モデルより早く抜けるような形状変更と見ています。抽出速度は早くも遅くもなく中庸、そのため中深煎りの豆で使うことが多いドリッパーです。

The ceramic version of the Kalita Wave has been made in Hasamiyaki until now, but in 2024 the model changed and became Minoyaki. (Interestingly, at about the same time, Melita changed from Minoyaki to Hasamiyaki. I think it was a coincidence.) Not only did the production location change, but the shape of the bottom portion of the flat bed and the size of the extraction hole changed. We see this as a shape change to allow for faster extraction than the previous model.
The brewing speed is neither fast nor slow, but moderate, and for this reason this dripper is often used with medium to deep roasted beans.
