カリタが(おそらく)1990年代に販売をしていたドリッパーです。手に入れたときは詳細が不明だったのですが、有識者の方に名称を教えてもらいました。かなり明るいライトブルー、持ち手がユニーク、内側のリブもさらにユニーク(横のリブは野球のボールの縫い目のよう)。同梱されていたメジャースプーンが1993年から発売された製品と形状が同じのため、この辺りの年代かなあ、というざっくりした推測をしています。
アバカ台形フィルターとの相性がよくて、ぴったり貼り付きます。空気の抜けはそんなに良くないので、じんわり抽出する中深煎りで使ってます。ヴィンテージカリタの中でも、ユニークさが際立ったモデルですね。
Kalita Pastel Dripper Blue

This is a dripper that Kalita sold in the 1990s(probably). When I acquired it, the details were unclear, but an expert told me that name of dripper. It is a bright light blue, with a unique handle and even more unique ribs on the inside (the horizontal ribs resemble the stitching on a baseball). The measuring spoon that came with it has the same shape as products released in 1993, so I am making a rough guess that it is from around that time.
It pairs well with the Abaca trapezoidal filter, fitting snugly. The airflow isn’t great, so I use it for medium-dark roasts that brew slowly. Among vintage Kalita models, this one stands out for its uniqueness.
